IN MARCH 2020. LILY CARE TOOK OVER AS THE CARE SERVICE PROVIDER TO THE VILLAGE. THEIR MANDATE IS TO RUN THE CARE CENTRE AND PROVIDE CARE SERVICES WHERE NEEDED TO VILLAGE RESIDENTS IN THE ASSISTED LIVING, SENIOR LIFESTYLE AND LIFESTYLE SECTIONS OF THE VILLAGE

Lily Care was founded by a dedicated management team, with international experience, who have extensive expertise in dementia, mental health and care support services. Their approach is to deliver person-centred care to the elderly and people living with dementia, with mental health difficulties and those with severe disabilities. Each client is treated as an individual and Lily Care complete a comprehensive assessment of needs, together with the client and their family, to formulate a care plan tailored to the individual.

Care Services

The person-centred approach to all Lily Care services enables residents to choose services that meet their current needs. Medication administration, chronic illness management, wound care, daily checks and an emergency response are provided by qualified nursing staff who are on site 24/7. Weekly cleaning and laundry services are offered by their in-house housekeeping team.

Meal Services

Three daily meals are provided and residents have the option to choose which meals they would like to include in their basic care levy. Lunch, including a dessert, is the main meal of the day.  Meals are served in the dining room, or within the comfort of the resident’s home; no delivery charges apply.

Activities

 

Daily activities provide opportunities for residents to socialise. During the week, yoga and chair yoga, bingo, conversation circles and memory book days along with bible study, choir, book club, bridge, board games and arts/crafts are organised. Weekend highlights include movie night with popcorn and a juice as well as an inter-denominational church service on Sunday.

Every month, outings and entertainment are organised and residents are welcome to enjoy the open library and puzzle exchange.
